Svilengrad is located in Southern Bulgaria, Haskovo Region, in a close proximity to the border with Turkey and Greece. Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint is only 14 kilometers away and is one of the busiest border checkpoints in Bulgaria. This has defined Svilengrad as a transit center and hotels in the town aim at providing conveniences for a short-term stay. Hotels are located in the central areas of Svilengrad.
