Samokov is located in Southwestern Bulgaria, only 55 km from Sofia and around 10 km from the ski resort Borovets, attracting visitors throughout the active ski season – from early December until the beginning of March. The mineral springs of Sapareva Banya are only 30 km away which makes it a great opportunity for a perfect one-day excursion.
