Chernomorets is a small town which is located only 24 kilometres southward of the district centre Bourgas and is laid on the shore of the Bourgas Bay. It is an interesting fact that until the middle of the last decade Chernomorets was a village named Saint Nikola. Today many spots in the town are named after the saint – restaurants, hotels, streets, etc. The sea town is preferable for a family holiday. The beaches are covered with fine sand, the water is shallow and calm, and there are a lot of attractions for the little ones. The narrow streets of Chernomorets are filled with neat, small shops for souvenirs, jewellery and clothes. Tourists may choose from many food places – traditional restaurants, pizza restaurants, beer-houses, taverns. Since Chernomorets is a small town, guest houses and family hotels dominate among accommodations there. Guests may prefer to prepare the food themselves in the fully equipped kitchens, dine and relax in the greenery yards. Some hotels offer a free parking space for their guests’ cars. If you look for luxury and noisy entertainment, Chernomorets is not the right place. But if you need a domestic atmosphere, delicious food, calm and clean beaches, as well as the proximity of the big city and the cosmopolitan resorts, then Chernomorets is ideal for the purpose. The town is easily accessible from Bourgas and is very close to the famous town of Sozopol. Foreign tourists land at the Bourgas International Airport and choose a taxi, bus or rent-a-car to get to the town. Everything in Chernomorets is within easy reach so there is not a big difference where you choose to accommodate. Among the architectural sites of Chernomorets is the Orthodox Church St. Nikola with the paradise garden in front of it. | | AVAILABLE HOTELS AND PRICES |
